Patrick Marsh

Patrick Marsh was born in London in 1943, a graduate of the University of Oxford and the University of the Sorbonne. He received his art training at the Ruskin School of Art, Oxford and the Ecole des Beaux Arts, Paris. For some thirty five years Patrick lectured in English, French and Film Studies in Paris, Dublin & Warwick. Now retired he has opportunity to paint full-time. He has a representational style and oil is his medium. Attractive objects interestingly grouped together inspire him where he captures the luminosity of glass, the texture of linen and the bloom of fruits to a very high degree in his still life works, for which is is most identified with. He is a much sought after artist whose paintings hang in private collections in England, France, Canada & Ireland.
